Taking Scarlet Strides

So, you may have noticed that I've begun a story called Taking Scarlet Strides.

To my followers who aren't homestucks, or who don't want to read it, you can ignore this blog or read it for fun. Doesn't matter.
To my followers who are homestucks and/or are interested in it, I'm just going to talk a bit about the universe I've set it in.

Basically, Taking Scarlet Strides (TSS) is set in a Human!Stuck verse. There are probably quite a few inconsistencies to canon because of this, namely the whole species thing. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, is human. That's what Human!stuck is.

TSS centers around Dave Strider, who has just moved into a new town (about forty five from their old town), and into a new school. He lives with his brother, Dirk. Dirk is dating Equius (crackship woo), and because of a bit of a slip up on my part, Equius and Horuss are twins. (I forgot I had originally planned Equius to be the same age as Dave, but obviously that ain't gonna work.)

The story starts five weeks into the school year, which is two weeks after Dave started attending school. (Due to yet another slipup I forgot that he'd been attending school for two weeks already and it seemed like he'd just started his first day. SO, it's a bit sketchy about that and I used a really thin band-aid (Thanks Kanaya) in the fourth chapter to kind of explain that.)

TSS is namely a DaveKat fic, however several other pairings are evident, such as Jade/Nepeta, RoseMary, Dirk/Equius, and Scourgecest. There are thirty four characters involved in the verse: the beta kids and trolls, the alpha kids and trolls, and the cherubs (No, the cherubs do not share a body. They're brother and sister, and the same age as the alpha kids). Because of the fact that I've got Jade and John as cousins, their older siblings (Jake and Jane, repspectively) are dating, things are really messed up there. At the moment I have Jade and Jake being half siblings, and cousins to the half-siblings John and Jane. So... techincally, (I think), it's okay that Jake and Jane are dating. But don't quote me on that.

Anyway! TSS is the beginning of several stories I hope to write, all placed in the same 'verse' thing. Each one will center around a different pairing, and all of said pairings are canon to each other and the verse. It's all canon to itself but not necessarily canon to actual canon. (What. No, Abi, just stop.)

So: what pairings can you expect to see? Well I'm glad you did(n't) ask! There are SEVENTEEN of them. Ready? EriSol, DaveKat, RoseMary, Scourgecest, Dirk/Equius, Jade/Nepeta, Jake/Jane, John/Caliborn (crackship derp), Roxy/Calliope, Meulin/Kurloz, GamTav, Megidocest (Damara is adopted from Japan, it's not messed up I swear), Feferi/Cronus (step-siblings!), Meenah/Aranea, Latula/Mituna, Kankri/Porrim, Rufioh/Horuss.
